Aluminum Alloy Wheel Manufacturing Process

It includes three technologies: gravity casting, forging and low-pressure precision casting.

Gravity casting: With the help of gravity, the aluminum alloy solution is injected into the mold. After it solidifies and forms, it is finely polished by a lathe to complete the entire production process.

Forging: The pre-heated alloy material is pressed into the rough blank of the wheel hub by high-pressure forging and CNC technology, and then finely carved by CNC technology. The forging process ultimately makes the wheel hub lighter and improves its rigidity.

Low-pressure casting: It uses a special low-pressure mold to compress the liquid alloy. The wheel hub produced in this way not only has a higher metal density and greater strength, but also can achieve a more complex shape design and greatly improve the safety factor. This technology has become the mainstream method for the current aluminum alloy wheel hub manufacturing, with a high yield rate and leading automation.
