Detection of Steel Wheel Strength

Testing Content: Through bending fatigue tests and radial fatigue tests, the wheel hub's fatigue resistance and load-bearing capacity are tested to simulate the stress conditions experienced during actual driving.

1. Bending Fatigue Performance:
The bending performance of a wheel generally requires that the wheel exhibit no noticeable deformation when subjected to load, and the degree of wheel bending should be less than the limit specified by national standards.

Test Equipment and Methods:
The wheel should have a driven rotating device and wheel connectors to rotate under a fixed bending moment, or the wheel should be stationary and subjected to a rotating bending moment.

Set test parameters such as bending moment, rotational speed, and number of cycles, and begin the test. After completing the specified number of test cycles, the machine should be stopped and the wheel should be inspected for cracks using penetrant testing or other acceptable methods.

2. Radial Fatigue Performance:
The radial fatigue performance of a wheel generally requires that the wheel exhibit no noticeable fatigue cracks or fractures after a certain cyclic load.

Test Equipment and Methods:
The wheel tire assembly should have a driven rotating drum and wheel mounts to rotate under a fixed radial force.

Set test parameters such as load, rotational speed, and number of cycles, and begin the test. After completing the specified number of test cycles, stop the machine and inspect the wheel for cracks using penetrant testing or other acceptable methods.
